Koenigsegg CCX
Overview
For someone who doesn’t consider themselves a car enthusiast, I’ve been drawn to the artistry behind Koenigsegg’s designs. There’s something about the CCX—its fluid lines, aggressive yet elegant silhouette—that has held my attention for years. It’s not just a car; it’s a masterpiece of engineering and aesthetics.
This model (still a work in progress) is my attempt to capture that essence—the balance of power and grace that makes the CCX so iconic. I’m aiming to build an entire scene around it, something that feels alive and dynamic, and hopefully, do justice to the beauty of the original. My goal? To create something that not only pays homage to the design but also tells a story through carefully crafted visuals and lighting.
Stay tuned—this is just the beginning!
Breakdown
I began by creating a low-poly blockout of the model. Then I converted it to a high-poly mesh to sculpt on. After that, I did a retopology with the sculpt as a base to project on, using the shrinkwrap modifier in Blender. (planning to create a more stable/longer version of this ‘timelapse’, but for now, this will do)
